Acquisitions & Dispositions
In advance of any contemplated transaction, we work with principals to develop a comprehensive plan, charting multiple scenarios to support their ultimate objective to (or not to) purchase or sell businesses or assets.
As an impartial member of the principal’s team, we support all aspects of diligence, negotiations, close, and transition from every transaction objectively and without bias.
We can also assist in the oversight of outside advisors towards support of the principal’s decisions and alignment with the principal’s ultimate goals.
Corporate Development & Business Strategy
As businesses grow in size they also grow in complexity. We support principals as they navigate between their own growth and the unique facets of their businesses. We develop comprehensive strategic plans across a range of scenarios to clarify and keep stakeholders aligned.
Following a disposition, liquidity event, or exit, we further develop the principal’s strategic plan towards charitable, family, and other endeavors.
In some cases, our principals can serve as a fractional or temporary corporate development officer to support optimization of assets, management, talent, and processes from within the organization.
In rare cases, a major corporate restructuring is required in order to unlock value and/or to support a major transaction. We have experience in high-stakes turnaround situations and can support our clients navigate through challenges while driving value in leveraging opportunities throughout the restructuring process.
